Based in Retford, Nottinghamshire, Setting Sons formed in 2003. The band members are Scott Liversidge (Paul Weller), Mark Goddard (Rick Buckler) and Dean Pearcy (Bruce Foxton). Since forming, they have performed over 200 shows, across the UK, for a wide variety of audiences and clients.
The aim is to recreate a live Jam show, with all the energy, volume and raw passion that this entails. Using authentic instruments, authentic clothing and full stage furnishings, such as drum riser, lighting, backdrop, etc, this is as close to the real thing as it gets. Sit back, close your eyes and let us take you back to the late 70s in a show that will encompass all the Jam hits and classics. The set includes songs such as "Going Underground", "The Modern World", "A Town Called Malice", "Tube Station" and "Eton Rifles" among others. All are recreated as per the original songs to enable the audience to enjoy the songs as they would have been played originally.
Setting Sons are self sufficient with a 6kw front of house PA system, which will cater for most venues up to approx 300-400 capacity. For venues larger than this, we recommend and can arrange the hire of a suitable PA system, (charged as extra to the client).
